Service – learning in Cusco

ABOUT PROGRAM

Peru​ StudyAbroad offers very unique, ethically-run volunteer programs in Cusco, for students and faculty from all over the world. These programs are open to all students irrespective of her/his level of Spanish proficiency to improve their Spanish while taking other electives in English.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 19 years
  • Spanish language skills, depending on your preferred placement
  • International health insurance
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Proactivity and creativity with limited resources
  • Positive mindset
  • Final project required

HOUSING

INCLUDES

  • Airport pick-up
  • Accommodation (host family – students house)
  • kitchen and table wear (included only in student house)
  • Breakfast and dinner (included only in host families)
  • Spanish classes (1 hour a day)
  • Program orientation
  • 3 hours a day work (Monday to Friday)
  • 24/7 Support

NOT INCLUDES

  • Homestay with single or shared room, two meals per day, weekly laundry service.
  • Students house, single bedroom, shared kitchen and living area
