We have an internship to fit your needs, whether your studies are focused on international business, special education, nursing, medicine or any healthcare area, human rights or hospitality.

Housing

Where you’ll live.

Homestay: Single or shared room, two meals per day and weekly laundry service.

Students house: Single bedroom with shared kitchen and living area, in Cusco or Calca (Sacred Valley).

Primary schools & kindergartens

In rural schools most students are bilingual (Quechua–Spanish) and, because of small numbers, work under a multiclass system with two grades per classroom. PSA works with primary schools and private kindergartens in Cusco and rural primary schools in the Sacred Valley: assist local teachers with presentations, classroom management and playful learning activities.

Micro-business & women empowerment

Peru’s economy has become one of the most solid in South America, and between 2000 and 2019 women’s labor force participation rose from 58% to 72%. In Cusco, tourism has driven a boom of women-led ventures — jewelry, textiles, health food, ceramics and ancestral crafts. Interns support digital marketing, public relations, client service and innovation.
